A very important native tree, originating in the mountainous rainforests of Northern NSW to Cape York in QLD but really at home on creek and river banks.
This beauty can grow to 40m in the its natural range but more likely 8-20m in our world. Dark green vibrant foliage make this an attractive tree. Produces beautiful yellow and red flowers followed by large bean pods. The seeds of which are toxic but very nutritious when toxins removed. Also highly prized as an indoor plant.
