Description

AKA Velvet Leaf, Beauty Berry.

A small to medium-sized shrub grown for its profusion of dark purple berries. The berries are produced during Winter and Spring.

Very ornamental shrub which gives excellent winter colour. Loves a sunny, open position in rich, well-drained soil.

Responds well to pruning. Do this in late winter to encourage bushy growth.
